To fulfill our mission, the Comanche Public Library provides access to a broad range of information resources including those available through the Internet.
All Internet resources accessible through the Comanche Public Library are provided equally to all library users. All patrons with proper library identification may access the Internet using library computers. All are required to read the policies and procedures for library computer and Internet use and will be required to abide by these rules. Failure to do so may result in revocation of use privileges.
Prospective users must sign an Internet Use Contract. Anyone under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian permission to access the Internet. Permission must be signed by the parent or guardian in person. No agreements may be taken from the building.
Individuals under 18 years of age without signed permission may neither use the Internet nor observe with another user. Anyone under the age of 12 years must have a parent or guardian present to access or observe the Internet. Internet use contracts may be obtained at the desk and will be kept on file after signing.

The library staff is happy to assist users as time permits but each user is responsible for his or her own search. In depth personal training cannot be provided. Users may not use their own diskettes or CDs to save files. Diskettes and CDs for use with the libraryís computer system are available at the checkout desk for a minimum charge.
