Free Press Dollar Check Found By New Hope Man
G.L. LEE was the lucky one on Parade Day in finding the $1.00 check thrown from the Free Press advertising car. Mr. LEE gave the check to Free Press editor and had his subscription moved up.
The exhibit from Mr. LEE’s farm, entered in the individual farm entries, won second place, taking a prize of a John Deere riding planter.
And in addition to this, his "best peck of peanuts: took a $25.00 go-devil. Mr. LEE and his enterprising family are to be congratulated.
